KJUS was born from the relentless pursuit of performance by Lasse Kjus, one of the most accomplished alpine skiers in history. Raised in Norway, Lasse began skiing aged three and went on to earn 16 Olympic and World Championship medals along with two Overall World Cup titles. Through years competing at the highest level, he believed ski apparel should prioritise functionality, comfort, and freedom of movement over fashion.
In the mid 1990s, frustrated by the limitations of existing gear, Lasse set out to build something better. Founded in 1999 and launched globally in 2000, KJUS introduced the industry’s first stretch ski jacket, redefining technical performance apparel. What began as a premium skiwear brand later expanded into golf in 2013, bringing the same innovation, precision, and unrestricted movement from the mountain to the course.
