THE ARCHITECT OF ENDLESS WINTER
Lucas Swieykowski was born in Bariloche, Argentina, and has built his life around an endless pursuit of winter. Dividing his year between hemispheres—spending the southern winter in Patagonia and the northern winter in Switzerland’s Engadin Valley—he has truly mastered the rhythm of the “endless winter.”
His journey began as a child, practicing imaginary ski runs on his parents’ living room carpet. Since then, Lucas has grown into one of the most recognizable and charismatic figures in freeriding. Today he is a fully certified UIMLA Mountain Guide, skiing mountains around the world while sharing his experience and knowledge with the clients he guides. Over time, his philosophy has evolved—from the “King of the Rails” mentality to a slower, more intentional approach to skiing. His focus now lies in authenticity, safety, and cultivating a deeper connection with the wild, unexplored terrain of the Alps and the Andes.
DESIGNED FOR THE EXTREME
Lucas doesn't just wear KJUS; he helps engineer it. His deep technical knowledge of backcountry touring and heli-skiing led to the creation of the LUCAS FRX line. Collaborating directly with the KJUS innovation team, Lucas helped solve real-world mountain problems, optimizing zipper placement for ventilation, perfecting lightweight layering systems, and integrating Hyper 3D Stretch technology to ensure freedom of movement while carrying heavy safety gear.
