Our UPF sun protection is built into the fabric of our apparel. Our tight knit and woven designs physically block the sun’s rays. Our UPF ratings are tested by placing fabric under a spectrophotometer, which measures visible light, and then exposing it to UV light. The spectrophotometer measures how much light is passing through the fabric and a calculation is done to determine the UPF of the fabric.
