Our coffee grounds are upcycled from post-consumer sources, which contributes to material-saving and energy efficiency during the manufacturing. Our fabric developers discovered that when combining recycled coffee grounds with premium yarns, the beneficial characteristics are magnified. The result is a fabric more fast-drying than cotton by up to 200%, increased UV protection, and increased odor-absorption. If that's not enough- coffee contains nitrogen, which helps neutralize odors in the air quickly and safely. It can even act as a filter, removing toxins such as Sulphur. KJUS weaves select technical fabrics with coffee-rich fibers to develop a fabric that is perfect for performance sportswear as it eliminates odors.
